Happy Valentine’s Day!

It’s Valentine’s Day!

What a perfect day to celebrate love, romance and kindness! Although some people detest and prefer to ignore the day, most of us find it a refreshing reason to smile on a cold winter’s day. There are countless ways to acknowledge the moment. If you are in a relationship, it is tradition to exchange gifts and sweet nothings. If you are single, it can be an opportunity to indulge in self love. It is tempting to go over the top but sometimes the simplest celebrations are the ones that are the most heartfelt. As you observe the holiday, remember to embrace the meaning behind your gifts and deeds.

It’s not about the big heart-shaped card. It’s the sentiment.

It’s not about the roses and chocolates. It’s the thoughtfulness.

It’s not about the gifts. It’s the appreciation.

It’s not about the jewelry. It’s the commitment.

It’s not about the elaborate dinner and expensive champagne. It’s the intimacy.

It’s about the love!

However, and with whomever, you choose to celebrate the occasion, take time to enjoy the moments and recognize the special memories you are creating. Stop to reflect on the remarkable sensations of the day and truly embrace the spirit of light-hearted pleasure! Allow those feelings to stay with you as a reminder of your capacity to love today and every day!

The result has been a lot of disappointment and frustration. It’s unfortunate that great candidates for dating have simply given up and feel that a positive dating experience is so elusive it is no longer worth the effort. I’m a firm believer in remaining optimistic in the dating arena. With just a few tweaks, it’s possible for more people to do better! Let’s explore some of the basic lessons learned from the disappointing date of Ms. Green Dress Lady.

Ready to Spring into Love?

With all the wonderful things to look forward to in the new season, it’s not surprising that many people renew their commitment to dating in the Spring. Are you ready to spring into love?

Remember the Time

“It’s really clear that the most precious resource we all have is time”– Steve Jobs
The subjects of time and dating seem to go hand and hand. When you are younger, you feel that you have all the time in the world to meet new potential partners, date and eventually get seriously involved with someone special. However, as time passes it becomes clear that if your love life is not a priority, it can easily be neglected.
